Cider Recipe with Hemp CBD Honey

It is chilly out! What better way to warm up than with a hot cup of cider? We’ve served this to event attendees at Light the Nation in Nashville and Greendoor Gourmet of this delicious fall drink, but we want you all to experience it, too! This recipe makes 2 gallons worth of cider, and is the perfect drink to bring to a holiday party!

Ingredients:

2 gallons of organic apple juice
1 whole orange – sliced
6 oz jar of Ology Essentials’ CBD Honey
8 cinnamon sticks
1 Tbsp cloves
2 Tbsp allspice berries
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tsp turmeric
12 cardamom pods

1. In a large pot over medium heat, add the apple cider. Stir in the CBD honey and spices until the honey is dissolved. Bring to a low boil.
2. Add the orange to the cider and reduce the heat to simmer. Cover and continue cooking for 20 minutes.
3. Strain the spices out of the cider, serve in warm mugs and enjoy!
